“I’ve always been attracted to everything flamboyant, and thanks to the recent drag boom I was able to start a project and photo essay about the drag and queer scene in my hometown Bogotá, Colombia. From my point of view, I want to show that our country is more than a stereotype, going through difficult political times, my goal is to shine a light on the rebels that speak through art and give a show to speak their minds freely. I want to give another representation of who we are and where we are going to. This is The Only Way is Through“
