Anna Breit is a 25 year old film photographer from Vienna, Austria. Her work mainly focuses on people and relationships. Her analog series „Youth2017“ is documenting her friends and her generation in a very raw and direct way.Â
“My series is to be seen as a diary about my friends, a certain time and my generation. Therefore it is a very personal project and it allows you to see things I chose to show you. My reality – or at least the reality I created. I think that is the interesting part about photography – not trying to capture reality, but to work with it, recreate it and tell stories with it. It´s also kind of a tribute to my friends. We want to celebrate life, youth, freedom and love. It is about a feeling you should get while looking at the pictures.“
