Blaise Cepis is a photographer from Philadelphia, Pa, now based in Brooklyn, NY. When Blaise is not working on day to day projects, he is working on his ongoing series “All We Have Is Ice Water & Hot Sauce”, a study of figure and space, and “If All Dogs Don’t Go To Heaven, I Want To Go Where They Go” which focuses on the concept of home and comfort.
Blaise, who defines his photography as “Experiments in comfort”, didn’t study photography, and therefore creates with his guts, driven by his own inspiration. A lot of his images are a surreal assemblage of naked bodies, with accessories like mirrors or printouts. The result is a compilation of fun, magical and abstract scenes where the odd and colorful are accentuated.
