Paris born, Caroline Fayette, is a photographer now based in Berlin. She graduated from Gobelins, the School of Images (Paris) and moved to Berlin in 2012 to open her own studio space (Blender & Co). She also co-founded Studio Twins, a creative duo working on visual installations and content. The photographs presented here, a selection of her personal projects as well as commissioned work, show the different aspects of her photographic work built on three notions : Sensitivity, Simplicity and Feminism.
“I use photography as a means of self-expression – I make pictures to better understand my reality. A clearer understanding of myself and of my world allow me to interact with people I would otherwise not be able to engage with. Photography is a kind of therapy for my curiosity as well as my shyness. My goal is to use my camera like a filter to understand an unexplored and attractive world, to help answer questions or face complex situations.”
