Chiara Cappetta is a 20 years old self-taught photographer from Italy. She lives in Bologna where she studies Communication but her biggest passion is photography. Chiara recently published a book regrouping her 35mm work.
“I’m not really good with words, that’s why I chose photography as my main form of communication. Through my pictures you can catch my intimate essence. For more than a year I’ve been shooting analog for my first photobook. I started mainly with self portraits; I’ve always been really shy and my camera was like my best friend. Using film camera made me more open and curious about the world and the people around me. To me art means sharing, this is my goal and that’s why I love art so much. I hope to inspire some emotions to those who watch my work.“
