Mirella de Mar is a feminist analog photographer from Buenos Aires, Argentina currently based in Barcelona. With the aim to challenge hegemonic beauty standards, Mirella’s work explores the diversity of bodies, intimacy and eroticism. For this series she collaborated with Sylvia Pop, a multi talented musician and activist.
I always try to investigate the way of expressing my ideas, political and social thoughts, and above all create a parallel world that is defined by intimacy and fantasy.
