Shahar Lev aka Fleur and Detail, is a fashion photographer from Israel, now based in Berlin. The series “Sundried” was shot with an expired 35mm film roll.
“Iām an explorer. Obsessed with visual conflicts, when opposites are put together. Iām inspired by the pale āwrong coloursā. It reminds me of āFata Morganaā, a phenomenon causing people walking in the desert seeing things that arenāt there, because their brain is too tired and their bodies are drained from the heat. I am drawn to the mystery of shadows and plants, particularly those in my childhood backyard. The model is my younger sister Zoe; she has been my partner in crime regarding making my visions come to life, since we were kids.”
