Florencia Magallanes is an Argentinian visual artist based in London. Her series of digital works explores the idea of corporality and eroticism through the use of images belonging to mainstream porn. Her interest lies in the resignification of the desire, opening the discussion from a feminist perspective. There is a special interest in the expressive use of color and visual textures as a way of impact that invites the viewer into a reflection of the complex subjects in Florencia´s work such as sexuality, desire and the unconscious – conscious dynamics of the human emotion.
