Greta María Ásgeirsdóttir is a swedish photographer and musician based in Berlin. Moving between art and documentary; her main work includes portraits of friends and relatives. She captures fleeting moments with modest means, employing a methodology as paired down as her subjects. Her ongoing project ‘Wet’ is focusing on feminism, working with water as a metaphor.

“Like the substance of water, feminism should be a basic human right, available to everyone. Therefore the portraits include both elements: a feminist, and water. The project is the first edition of a continued collaboration with the Berlin Feminist Film Week.”
