Photographer & videographer Hélène Mastrandréas has teamed up with Mac Cosmetics to portray an inclusive and freer vision of femininity.

“To have role models is important for teenagers. But LGBTQ+ community representation is quite poor in medias. Younger, I needed to have LGBTQ+ role models but I didn’t find any. Representation was stereotypical or just in subculture. The idea of the editorial is to have positive representation of LGBTQ+ community. Showing roles models who are inspiring and comforting. To show an image of freedom and self acceptance for people, like me, who need to identify to people who look like them.”
