Josefine Aspvik is a queer cartoonist from Finland, based in Berlin. They created an illustrational platform for genderless/non-binary unconventional queer beauties that they draw in order to bring awareness and to break the toxic world of norms, gender roles and beauty standards. Josefine is very passionate about normalizing unconventional beauty as well as mental health issues.
I am very inspired by experimental fashion and designers who make sure not to gender their clothing. I would love to design clothing myself one day and a lot of the outfits that my characters are wearing is something that i would love to re-create in real life. I like to add an exaggerated amount of jewelry to my characters to make sure they shine as bright as they deserve.
