Lea Arnezeder is a 25 years old visual artist currently based in Paris. The self-taught painter is influenced by cinematographic art, and strongly inspired by the people around her. The intent of her work is to expose flaws of human beings.
“I’ve always been touched by faces and what they inspire me on a spiritual and emotional level.. I don’t feel drawn by esthetic, but more by an aura, a journey in someone’s eyes, an emotion, fear, sadness, desperation, joy. I’ve painted a lot of characters with strength and power with conflicted emotions. I’m interested in the inner monologue. Through imperfections I tend to find the truthfulness of a human’s journey. “
