Lola Rossi is a french photographer, digital artist and film maker. In her work, she explores different themes with a cinematographic approach and mixed references from the 80’s, the femmes fatales and retro-futurism. Her aim is to find a way to store memories and to define their new place in our new digital world.
With the serie of selfportraits “Symptômes”, she froze in a set of images the daily struggle of growing up as a woman, and as an hypersensitive being. She tries to identify other people’s struggle, as well as to capture “Sleepless nights”. She does it like movie scenes, by finding the fragility in the characters she creates with her models.
