Manhei lives in Italy where she studies fine art.
“The idea behind this project is about the topics of menstrual movements of female bodies. If people ask me about my message that I want to spread, my reply is always the same: BE PROUD OF YOUR PERIODS. My artworks are for everyone: whether for girls and women, when they start to observe more their periods, or for older women who still have their concerns about this issue. And of course for men, for whom the subject is still very delicate, unpleasant and confusing. It’s never only stuck in a feminist type because art talks and communicates, not only speaks or shouts.”
