Rui Lyu is a female fine art and erotic photographer based in Paris. Her work focuses on female sexuality and gender identity. In 2016, she created her first photo project “Hot Pink”. The project is made up of various personal monologues by a diverse group of women and queer people. During the last three years, following interviews about their views on sex, relationships, sex education and sexual violence against women and queer, Lyu photographed and wrote different explorations of individual body, to explore the complexity and constructivism behind sexual politics.
