Sara Herrlander is a photographer, born in Stockholm currently living in Berlin. Her documentary photography style focuses on capturing her objects unaware. The moments in between perfection, someone taking a breath/eating/frowning/glaring. In her conceptual work she attempts to apply the same style in order to take a closer look at the inconvenience of heterosexual male fantasies. Featuring Susanna @crazysannis
“In the series ‘Who the f*ck paints their nails in the bathtub?’ I want to puncture the glamorous imagery of a woman relaxing and making herself “pretty” for the outside world by making the girl in the photo’s every attempt to achieve a perfect surface, just as off as the fantasy itself.“
