Born in Germany in 1987, Stefanie Zofia Schulz studied in the Ostkreuzschule in Berlin and graduated in 2013. Her documentary and artistic work focuses mainly on important social issues and the human factor. For this project “Toleration”, she regularly visited the inhabitants of Germany‘s largest collective lodging for refugees and asylum-seekers for about a year. Her focus was children and adults who were growing up here as “tolerated” people, or who were born in this situation.
