Born in Lamia, Greece, Sofia Dalamagka lives and works in the quiet village of Arkitsa. Her journey into photography began in 2011, and her work has since gained recognition through exhibitions, competitions, and editorial features. Alongside creating, she curates and teaches, exploring photography’s aesthetics and its connection to human experience.

Her latest series, Swan Song (Kukneioasma), is an ode to love in all its raw beauty. Inspired by Plato’s Phaedon, it reimagines the swan’s final song—not as a lament but a celebration. Sofia’s lens captures love’s grace and awkwardness, mirroring swans gliding elegantly only to stumble ashore. Relationships unravel, revealing imperfections that make us human. The work celebrates love’s ability to transcend gender, body, and convention, honoring the universal need to be seen, cherished, and loved in all our messy, imperfect glory.
