Taysa Jorge is a Spanish photographer from the Canary Islands. She bases her work on her conscious and unconscious emotions, photography is her way to represents them.
“An emotion is timeless; it goes into the deepest of ourselves and when we digest it, when time goes, its residues are still there, overlapping at our entrails, forming and keeping us erect, deforming and reinventing us. And suddenly, there it is, that song, smell or image, like a switch that teleports us to the depths of we have already lived. My emotions are the same as how other people can feel them and I like to believe that when someone sees my photograph, they can feel their own emotion.”
