“THE LADY” is the latest series by photographer and makeup artist Victoria Vinas, which aims to shed light on society’s tendency to invisibilize and undervalue individuals, particularly women, as they age. Victoria decided to challenge the societal notion of perfection and the obsession with youthful appearances by working with a mature model. The goal of this project is to capture and showcase the strength, grace, and wisdom that come with age, highlighting these qualities that are often overshadowed in a culture fixated on flawless youth.
