Trish Janovic is a semi-erotic illustrator based in NYC. She created the project The Sad Hand Job as an outlet where she could openly illustrate her experience being a female in her 20s, as well as the experiences of her friends.
“I started The Sad Hand Job account after conversations with my friends about awkward sex stories, female sexuality, and other “taboo” topics. I wanted a place where I could be honest about the way I feel about my body, sex and dating. Expressing my sexuality hasn’t always been easy due to the fear of being stigmatized. With these drawings I want to add a female perspective in erotica and encourage the normalization of female pleasure.”
